Introduction
Hi there, I’m Jeff Campbell – a single dad, father of three, outdoor lover, and maintainer of yards, trees, basic landscaping, and more. I’m also the proud owner and operator of Your Yard Expert – a website dedicated to helping homeowners and renters maintain their outdoor spaces.
My Passion for the Outdoors
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had a deep love and appreciation for the great outdoors. I spent most of my childhood exploring the woods, fishing in nearby streams, and camping in the mountains. As I got older, my passion for the outdoors only grew stronger.
When I became a dad, I knew I wanted to instill that same love and appreciation for nature in my children. I started teaching them about the different types of trees and plants, how to care for them, and the importance of taking care of our environment.
Becoming Your Yard Expert
As I became more involved in maintaining my own yard and garden, I realized that many homeowners and renters struggle with keeping their outdoor spaces looking great. They often have questions about the best practices for lawn care, tree trimming, and landscaping, but don’t know where to turn for reliable information.
That’s when I decided to create Your Yard Expert. My goal was to share my knowledge and expertise with others who want to maintain beautiful outdoor spaces but may not have the time or experience to do so on their own.
While I am a native Texan and currently live outside of Austin, I’ve lived all over the US and have a wide variety of knowledge of different climates and their various needs. I’ve lived in:
